Low carb burger for reduction 😉

When on reduction cycle we would want to eat a low carb burger with less of those nasty carbs. This is the main idea on howto make it happen. In short, get rid of the carbs ! Or at least the bun, roll or any other things. The juice from the wrapped patty will stick inside because of the bacon. The taste is uncanny. You have to try it at least once. The veggies here, chopped in a “salad” You can easily extend by throwing in an avocado or substracting something. This is made as i had the ingredients in my kitchen.

This is real life home cooking, not that stuff alle fancy and sparkling on tv 😉 Do not be discouraged 🙂 The fun is first class, and the satisfaction ofter making it happen.

Salad aka dressing

The salad aka dressing, is very simple : chopped onion, tomatoes, pickles and red pepper. Mix it all together. Add two table spoons of linseed or olive oil.  Add a bit of salt and black pepper, nothing fancy but it works like a charm. It is very healthy given all the electrolites in pickles and juice from other vegetables.

The low carb burger. Low carb cause it is simply without a bun. Just veggies and patty (wrapped in bacon ! ) And of course... cheese. Inpiration came with the new plan, getting back to gym. I wish to move my diet towards lover carb, slow carb, complex carbs. Many different names. The taste is awesome. You need to put in some ork to wrapping the patty, besides this , it is a breeze.

  • 4 150g patties here You can see i bought my already done, took it easy this time
  • 2 150 bacon slices
  • 4 big cheese slices
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 cup olives here i got black, You can go with green
  • Sauces a mix i used black smoked Jack Daniels, some ketchup and chilli
  • Spices salt, black pepper, oregano, basili and whetever You wish

  3. Burger patty wrapped in bacon ! Just put it on a frying pan if You want, add just a little bit of oil. The rest will melt from the bacon.

The Summary

This is very caloric. A lot of fat from the bacon. On the other side fat is beeing digested more slowly than carbs. There is no insuline response (not that big). You keep Your sugar in check. This will keep You up and running for at least half of the day if not more. You can try to go with some herbal tea that will help You digest it 😉
