Cauliflower pizza ( failed ;) )

Cauliflower pizza ( failed 😉 )

Since all that fitness, working out and healthy eating I came to a point to give it a try the cauliflower pizza . Heard a lot about it so the curiousity took its tall 😉 In short we want to substitute as much flour with the cauliflower. It is very low in calories so it is a nice substitute for the base dough ingredient – flour.

So the low cals are the main reason for this pretty much, very little carbs also. Without meat it would be a perfect vegan dish for Your plant eating friends 😉

  5. Form a crust for the toppings, i used a spoon 😉

  6. Now You should put the pizza crust alone to the oven for 10 - 15 minutes. The idea is for the dough to tighten and stick together, form a solid mass that You can put on the toppings. Since this failed in the end i think i should keep it more to the 15 minutes. Also put some oil on the baking sheet, and not use the baking paper. The crust should peel off from it nicely, but i have yet to test it some day 😉
Toppings and the fail 🙂
  1. Added bits and pieces of meat i found in the fridge 😉

The summary

At least i tried 😉 It did fail , but i tied. Be prepared for a strong cauliflower aroma while mixing the “dough”. Add spices like salt and black pepper to the crust, it might be a bit mild for You. The cauliflower on its own isnt very tasty and aromatic. If You fail , please do tell what went wrong 😉 In the and it is always something.
